📌 Your Mission

As Senior iOS Developer (m/f/d), you are significantly responsible for the development and optimization of our native iOS apps to offer our users a first-class, performant, and stable mobile experience. Your contribution ensures the technological future-readiness of our apps and has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and company growth.

🎯 Your Tasks & Responsibilities

- Design and Implement complex features in Swift/SwiftUI/UIKit, ensuring high quality, performance, and responsiveness of the native iOS apps.

- Drive Architectural Decisions for the iOS codebase (e.g., MVVM, Composable Architecture) and enforce best practices (e.g., Clean Architecture, Unit/UI Testing, CI/CD).

- Optimize Application Performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in loading times, memory usage, and battery consumption, ensuring a smooth user experience.

- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to define, plan, and deliver new features and improvements.

- Maintain and Refactor existing code to improve maintainability, reduce technical debt, and ensure adherence to modern iOS development standards.

- Conduct Code Reviews for peers, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality, security, and adherence to established standards.

- Troubleshoot and Resolve complex application issues, bugs, and crashes in production environments efficiently.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Junior and Mid-level developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.

🚀 Your Key Competencies

- Deep expertise (5+ years) in native iOS development using Swift.

- Profound knowledge of SwiftUI and UIKit, and Apple's development ecosystem. - Extensive experience with architectural patterns like MVVM, Clean Architecture or simliar.

- Proven track record in shipping and maintaining high-quality, performant, and stable consumer-facing apps to the App Store.

- Solid understanding of Unit and UI Testing, CI/CD processes, and modern source control (Git).

- Experience in performance optimization (e.g., memory management, loading times) and crash analytics.

- Strong grasp of asynchronous programming (e.g., Combine, async/await).

- Nice-to-have: Experience in a fast-paced scale-up/startup environment.

- Nice-to-have: Experience with Agentic AI to optimize development process

- Strong Ownership & Proactiveness: Takes full responsibility for results, drives initiatives independently, and proposes solutions beyond assigned tasks.

1. Successfully leading the implementation of two major feature sets (e.g., new core functionality) within the first 6-9 months, adhering to best practices (e.g., unit/UI testing, clean architecture).

2. Significantly improving the stability, performance, or crash rate of the app.

3. Taking ownership of the codebase quality and actively contributing to the definition and enforcement of iOS development standards (Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit) within the engineering team.

4. Effectively collaborating with the team by providing feedback, code reviews, technical guidance, and fostering knowledge transfer.

5. Becoming the go-to expert for complex mobile-specific technical challenges and architectural decisions.

🎓 Your Background – Education & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is highly valued.

- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in native iOS development.

- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth scale-up or startup environment is a strong plus.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
