People & Recruitment Manager – Tech & Scale-up (m/f/d) - Remote (Romania)

📌 Your Mission
Your role ensures that Next Lotto scales swiftly, with top-quality execution and cultural fit in Romania. You bridge exceptional tech recruiting with reliable HR and People structures in our EOR setup, acting as the local extension of our central People Team. This drives sustainable growth—without compromising candidate experience, employee experience, or company culture.
🎯 Your Tasks & Responsibilities
End-to-end ownership of recruiting for Romania (especially tech roles), including active sourcing and alignment with hiring managers.
Central point of contact for all HR and People topics for Romanian employees in our EOR setup.
Assurance of seamless onboarding, offboarding, and full employee lifecycle processes.
Active shaping of culture, engagement, and employee experience in a remote-first environment.
Close collaboration with the central People Team in Germany, with transparent communication on hiring progress.
Coordination of occasional local office or co-working needs (as required).
🚀 Your Key Competencies
Must-have
Proven recruiting experience, ideally in tech or IT environments.
Solid understanding of HR fundamentals across the employee lifecycle.
Experience collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of modern recruiting channels (LinkedIn, active sourcing, job platforms).
Confident handling of ATS systems and digital recruiting tools (e.g., Team Tailor, Notion).
Excellent English skills in speaking and writing (company working language).
Nice-to-have
Experience in international or remote-first setups.
Knowledge of working with EOR models or external HR providers.
Experience in employer branding or candidate experience optimization.
Basic knowledge of HR analytics / recruiting KPIs.
Initial experience with People or culture initiatives in scale-ups.
German language skills.

🎓 Your Background – Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field; equivalent practical experience is equally valued.
3–7 years of hands-on experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or a combined HR Generalist role with strong recruiting focus.
Proven experience hiring for Tech / IT roles, ideally in fast-growing companies, start-ups or scale-ups.
Experience working in international environments, remote-first setups or with distributed teams, incl. willingness to travel occasionally.
Familiarity with local labour market dynamics in Romania and candidate expectations is a strong advantage
